Seeds

Seeds, where would we be without them?  They fill our flower beds with colour and fragrance, and allow us to grow tasty, nutritious food to feed ourselves and our family. They are the perfect little capsule, containing everything that is needed to start the next generation of plant life. They lay dormant sometimes for years waiting for the perfect growing conditions and then, they spring into life.

This year I am trying to grow all my vegetables and flowers from seed.

  3. That is a nice collection of seeds you have and wow your garden is going to be full by the end of October. Growing from seeds is great, I love it too, last year I did our whole market garden from seed for summer it was an epic task but I loved it and the food produced was great. I often just buy seedlings of herbs if I need as I can never get them to germinate.

    1. I can't even imagine the work involved in seeding a market garden. My little patch is enough work for me.

    1. I haven't planted anything yet, we are still getting frost warnings, plus I am still waiting for the winter veg to finish. You have a good month too.
