Harvest Monday

I picked the last of the Green Dragon broccoli this week as well as the first two cauliflowers.
The two broccoli heads weighed 500g and the cauliflower weighed 1.1 kilos. The second cauliflower was not as big weighing 360g.
I will be picking a lot more cauliflower over the coming weeks are there are still 15 plants left in the garden most of which will find its way into the freezer. Thanks to Daphne's Dandelions for hosting Harvest Monday.

  1. Beautiful harvests. You should be coming into the season for warmer weather, right? We are in the middle of our summer here. Those broccoli and caulis look great!

    1. Hi Cristy, You're right, the days are getting longer and day time temperatures are getting warmer, and as much as I love the harvest of summer I am not looking forward to the heat that summer brings.

  2. I love that top photo. It reminds me more a beautiful bouquet than vegetables.

    1. I never even thought of that Daphne, I just threw the broccoli in with the cauliflower so you couldn't see my weedy path underneath.
